About this course

Nobody teaches the part between being hired and being good at a job. This course covers it. It starts before day one: the six contract clauses that decide how easily you can leave and what you own, and why the salary you agreed is not the number that arrives. Then the first ninety days — why the instinct to fix things in week two is the most costly one you have, how to use the window where every question is expected, and how to read the unwritten rules that nobody documents and everybody notices. There is a section on mistakes, because you will make one and the response is what people remember. And it finishes with the habits that everything later depends on: the record you start on day one, the expectations conversation most people never have, and how to tell a bad week from a signal it is time to move.
